This was not made by me, but by my very talented mom, Donna Spease. I just had to post!

Birthday Cupcake

My new favorite Cricut cartridge is Love You a Latte! The cupcake image was perfect for making this birthday card for my dear friend.

Robotz

My 10-yr-old son and I had a blast making this robot from my Robotz Cricut cartridge (a $10 special)! I can't wait to have a robot themed birthday party!

"Joy"

This is a birthday card I made using the Cricut cartridge French Manor. I also used my new sizzix embossing machine to emboss the background. I finished it all off with some brown ink distressing and twine.

Get Well Grandpa

My husband's Dad is recovering from a procedure to re-attach his Retina. Yes, it IS as gruesome as it sounds! Hopefully this card will lift his spirits while he is stuck lying on his side for the week!

Comic Book Sign

I saw this project on Pintrest and just HAD to make it! The letters are from Hobby Lobby and the comics were a quarter each at half-price books. Using Modge Podge, I glued a collage to each letter. I plan on finishing them off by painting the edges black :). The whole project cost under $20!!

Thank You Educators!

Since making the switch from full-time homeschool to part-time private school, my fourth-grade son has been struggling to keep up with all of the hand written assignments. His school suggested we get him tested for Learning Differences. I had heard how lengthy and difficult the process could be so I was not excited in the least bit. Surprisingly, things went very smoothly. One person in particular went out of her way to make my son feel at ease and to help me understand the process. While my son turned out to not need any special services, I wanted to made a card of thanks for this special person.

Mornings are for the Birds!

I love birds, just not mornings! What better way to wake up than to have these cute little birds greeting me, along with my morning coffee!

Thanks to all the Firemen!

My smoke detectors all went off this morning (and I wasn't even cooking ;). I couldn't figure out why, so I called the local fire department. They were so happy to come out and help me find the problem (a bad detector.). As a thanks, my toddler and I baked up some cookies for them and made this super quick tag on the Cricut. Now what a good excuse to craft; not that we need one!!

"My Type"-Anniversary Card

What kind of a card do you make a husband who isn't a sports fan, doesn't play golf, fish, or hunt?
I have no idea!
But, I did find this cute looking (I mean manly) typewriter stamp and paper at Hobby Lobby tonight. Perfect for my man, who loves his computers! Add in some black letters from the George and Shapes Cricut cartridge along with some gold wire and ViĆ³la! (Excuse the French ;)

I'm entering this card in the "It's a Man's World" challange over at FCCB :)

Alien Glob

Since my husband is out of town, I plan on spending a good part of Saturday crafting. Needing something to keep my toddler busy at the table with me, I came up with this stuff. Part glue, part starch, with some other "secret ingredients" tossed in (by my toddler of course,) I created the ultimate alien blob! He is moldable, bounces, and even changes shape on his own! My kids are convinced I can sell him to NASA ;)

Flower tag

Made this using the George and Basic Shapes cartridge for the Cricut. I'm entering it in the Tag challenge over at
Fantabulous Cricket Challenge Blog!

I Love Ewe gift box

I went to Cricut.com for their FREE cuts of the week and found this adorable box and lamb (on the Spring Holiday Cards cartridge). I have the original Cricut which only cuts on 6"x 12" paper so my box is tiny. Just big enough to fill with chocolate kisses and give to my little sweetie!
